Quite simply, I have the technical background and leadership skills to be an exceptionally effective board member. And I have served successfully since Jan 2024.
I’ve been in Central Texas (with the exception of a few years away for military duty) since 1994. I love my community! I served as the Engineering Department Manager from Jan 2016 – Mar 2019. And when I left, it was to answer “Uncle Sam’s” call back to active duty in the Air Force.
In my 3+ years with the River Authority, I saw just how effective they are at making sure our rivers are safe and clean. They continue to serve as a leader in promoting and implementing low impact development. I could not be prouder of the work my engineering team did in getting the first phase of the San Pedro Creek Culture park opened.
I did join the San Antonio River Foundation in summer of 2022. And I was very upfront that I was considering running for the board of direction. I have absolutely enjoyed my time with the Foundation, but really feel I can best serve the community with board of direction service. I hope you will cast your vote for #2!
